Hey Metricooler,
Instagram Stories are great, no doubt. But they’re made to keep your current followers engaged, and that’s probably why some brands or creators don’t give them much weight in their strategy. They won’t grow your numbers.
Thing is, they’re your secret weapon to build a loyal community, the kind that would follow you all the way up Mount Kilimanjaro. And no, you don’t need more stickers (you’ve got those memorized 😉). What you do need is a strategy.
Strategy to:
✅ Keep your audience coming back
✅ Build real trust and connection
✅ Turn views into attention, and attention into sales
To help you build that trust and start turning Stories into real results, we’ve put together a guide with 17 proven Stories formats and 40 real examples from brands doing it right, from Calm and Google to a small shop in Austin or an indie beauty brand.
Just one click, and it’s yours:

Meta is betting on AI vibes
After the success of its AI-generated video feed Vibes, Meta is now testing a standalone app dedicated entirely to that content. It’s a first version, currently available in Brazil and Mexico.
The goal seems to be to go all in on AI and create a kind of TikTok powered by artificial intelligence. And Meta’s not alone: OpenAI recently launched Sora. Is AI video the next big thing?
YouTube makes global reach easier…
YouTube channels and creators now have access to automatic dubbing, making it easier to reach viewers in more languages. The platform just expanded the tool to support 27 languages.
… and TikTok goes local
TikTok is rolling out Local Feed in the U.S., a new feature designed to help people discover content from nearby businesses, events, or restaurants.
It’ll show up on the app’s home tab and surface posts based on a user’s location. If you’ve been thinking about making content for your business on TikTok, this is the perfect chance to get discovered by people in your area.

BEYOND THE SCROLL
A strategy that works… when there’s a plan behind it
Metricooler, during the Grammys on Sunday, we experienced one of those moments that completely takes over the internet, and we jumped on it by publishing a meme carousel that, not to brag, but it kinda blew up:
+18K likes / +1K comments / +1K reposts / +10K sends / +1K saves

And these moments are always on our radar because we know they work. We did it during the Golden Globes, on Halloween night, at the Met Gala, and during last year’s Oscars.
Because honestly, nothing connects people faster than a good meme. The kind you see and instantly think, yup, that’s me.
You’ve probably noticed that every time something big happens in pop culture, hundreds of brands and creators build content around it.
Semrush, Tailor, and IKEA are some of our favorites this year. Each one doing it in their own voice and style.
The reason why they use this strategy is simple: It works.
#1 We tap into a shared global reference
If you have been online at any point in the last 24 hours, you already know what everyone is talking about. Who didn’t see that Bad Bunny moment?
#2 It is the topic of the day
This is real-time marketing at its purest. You become part of a global conversation as it happens. Tomorrow there will be something else, and the opportunity will be gone.
#3 You adapt it to your industry and your audience
That same “this is literally me” feeling only works if you translate the moment into your world. You need a bit of creativity, but most importantly, you need to make it yours so it actually connects with your audience.
#4 These are light content pieces
This is not educational content or a post that will bring you sales or signups. The goal is to bring new people into your ecosystem.
That said, there are two things you should always keep in mind:
#1 It is very easy to fall into this type of content because it is an easy win for engagement
But if you overuse it, you lose focus on your real goals, and you risk turning your account into a meme page.
#2 These moments disappear fast, and reacting in time requires space in your workflow
If your day-to-day is already overloaded, you will never have time to react. No Grammys. No Super Bowl. Nothing.
Let me share with you how our social team handles it:
We plan the whole week inside Metricool, but leave a slot open for that key moment because we know something will happen.
We also have a Canva template ready, where we only need to drop the image in, write the line, and move it from Canva to Metricool’s planner in 1 click.
The Oscars are coming up in a couple of weeks. Ready to jump in?

From a common mistake to a smart fix
Getting clicks from social media is more challenging than ever.
So when someone does want to know more about your brand, the last thing you want is to lose them to a generic, messy, or outdated link in bio.
That tiny link has way more power than we give it credit for, and if we don’t apply strategy behind ours, it becomes a friction point we can’t afford.
But it can be fixed easily.
In this video, we’ll show you how to use your link in bio to drive traffic where it matters most.
A month full of opportunities to learn? Yes, please
We’re not only committed to building the best social media tool for your workflow, but we’re also firm believers that developing and learning new skills is what matters the most in this profession.
And that’s why we team up with professionals who’ve been there, tested it, and know what works.
This month, we’re bringing you three sessions worth your time:
→ Understand what drives action, in a session on the psychology behind campaigns that connect, build trust, and lead somewhere.
→ Find the balance between brand and personal voice. If you manage both, this session will teach you how to communicate clearly without confusing your audience… or yourself.
→ Turn content into conversions, with Manychat’s Growth Leader. This masterclass shows you how to close the gap between engagement and results by combining your content strategy with automation that works.
All three are free, practical, and built to help you improve how you work.
CONTENT OPPORTUNITIES
Every week brings a few great moments you can tap into for timely content; as long as they align with your brand and strategy, of course.
And if you’re planning ahead, check out our Notion calendar packed with hundreds of relevant dates and real-life post examples to spark ideas.
That's it for today, catch you next week!
